Actor Matt Evans attempted to raise national awareness as he pointed out a “bigger issue” which Filipinos should focus on rather than spending all their time arguing about international boxing superstar Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao’s controversial comment on same-sex marriage.
Matt uploaded a photo message on his official Instagram account last Thursday (February 18, 2016), wherein he expressed that there is a bigger problem his fellow Filipinos should feel alarmed about. The photo depicted a photo of the People’s Champ and a message that says,

“I didn’t know that this man can cause a civil war in the Philippines where Filipinos are fighting over who’s having a better righteous argument while China on the other had just deployed missiles in one of the islands in the West Philippine Sea that could wipe out any city in the Philippines to which of course not a national concern to Filipinos. Goodluck.”
In addition, he actor captioned the said post with,
“Hoy Juan Gumising ka!!!! Masmalaki Problema natin!”
China recently deployed an advanced surface-to-air-missile system in one of the hotly contested island in the West Philippines during the ASEAN meeting held in the United States of America. In addition, China increased their military forces in these islands; causing more tension in the Asian region.
As of writing, Matt already deleted the said post on his Instagram account.
