Kapamilya actor Marlo Mortel is currently facing one of the hardest challenges in his life, as his mother is battling cancer.
Mortel opened up about his family’s circumstance back in June (2017) on Instagram. He shared that his mother is suffering from stage 4 Breast Cancer, and is still recovering from her open heart surgery back in December (2016) and has to face another set of treatments.

Mortel then uploaded a new post on Instagram, asking his mom to stay strong and to not give up. He said that they will fight with her along the way.
He captioned “You are so strong Mommy. Thank you for always fighting! We will fight with you all the way wag ka mapapagod. We love you so much!”
