Mark Gil Passed Away at 52

(Update) Few hours after his death, the body of actor Mark Gil was cremated at the Heritage Park Chapels and Crematorium in Taguig City.

The actor died in the house of his sister, actress Cherie Gil.

His last moments before he left was shared by Gabby Eigenmann, his eldest son.

Gabby posted on his Facebook, Twitter and Instagram Account a picture of him and his father with the caption ““…And so you held my hand in yours, just like you did when I was young . But then you held it to your heart just as you slowly slipped away. Today I said goodbye to you Dad. I said the last I love you that you would hear. Fly free with the Lord, fly free without pain. No worries, no problems, just love. Thank you for everything you have done for me and the family. Thank you for the legacy you have left behind. You will be forever in our hearts, till we meet again..”.

Mark Gil Passed Away at 52

Versatile actor Mark Gil passed away today, September 1, 2014 at 8 in the morning due to cirrhosis or an advance liver disease.

Mark Gil or Raphael Joseph De Mesa Eigenmann in real life is known with his many shows like Mula Sa Puso, Saan Ka man Naroroon, Iingatan Ka and My Husbands Lover.

He is the father of actors Andi Eigenmann, Sid Lucero and Gabby Eigenmann.

The actor is supposed to celebrate his 53rd birthday on September 25, 2014.
