Last January 9, 2015, the home of the Gutierrez family inside White Plains in Quezon City was disturbed by a man claiming to be the lost son of veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez.
According to the report of ABS-CBN News, a 21-year-old man named John Miles Cunato, who is from Bataan, was arrested after he tried to climb over the gate of the said home.
According to Councilor Norman Castro, Cunato managed to sneak past the guards of the subdivision and throw his three black bags that included his PhilHealth ID over the gate of the Gutierrez family home, before being apprehended by local police.
Ruffa Gutierrez, the daughter of Eddie shared on her Twitter account about what happened during the incident.
“Bags were sent back to the [town hall] for investigation & thank God for CCTV’s the stalker was caught while climbing over a neighbors gate!”
“Now the stalker is being held, & claiming to be my dad’s 21 year old son!!! This story is getting weirder by the minute!” Ruffa added.
