The statement made by actress Jessy Mendiola during an interview at the StarMagic Ball 2016 made the rounds online. “What am I say to that?” became a subject of discussion among netizens if the phrase is gramatically correct or not.
In a recent Instagram post, Luis Manzano posted a joke message and one of his followers commented the following:
“buti hindi ‘what am i say to that?!’ ang sinagot ng bata Whoops! Sorry si Jessy Mendiola pala yun!”
Luis defended Jessy with her statement by saying:
“well thank you for proving that’s what she said because that is gramatically correct. nahiya ako sa family pictures mo sa fb Ms. (name of user) , I hope your two little girls never get bullied I’ll be posting your family pics in a bit, enjoy!”
This made the follower realized her mistake and issues an apology:
