

Lav Diaz’s newest piece titled “Ang Babaeng Humayo” on Saturday (September 10, 2016) won the Venice Film Festival’s top prize, the Golden Lion award.
The prize was handed by an eight-member panel headed by “Skyfall and “Spectre” director Sam Mendes.
