In one of the episodes of Kris and Bimby Summer TV (May 26, 2015), Kris Aquino interviewed one Kapamilya guest who said he was rejected (‘basted’) by a girl that he was courting.
Bimby out of curiosity asked what the word ‘basted’ means?
Kris explained to Bimby what the word means and added that it is something Bimby does not have to worry about because it will be the girl who will be running after him (Bimby).
“Hindi mo yan mararanasan Bimb, magpakatotoo na tayo. Yung mga girls ang manliligaw sa yo.” said Kris. “Maging choosy ka ha? Huwag mong patulan lahat naman. Choosy choosy ka lang di ba?” added Kris.
