“I’m headed home but I need to first say THANK YOU to my sons & siblings (Pinky & Manolo, Viel & Dodo, and PNoy who went straight to the hospital from the airport after his Cebu trip) – I had a severe, vascular headache from 3 PM while taping @kristvofficial_ig, threw up 3X when I got home at 6:30 PM & when my blood pressure was taken it was 150/100. My sisters insisted I go to the ER because my symptoms were alarming. At the ER my BP was 200/110. Just a bit higher could have caused a stroke.

With this, the TV host also thanked her sons, siblings and the doctors who took care of her. She admits that she was a slave to her work but she vowed that she will never abuse her body again and she will achieve a healthy lifestyle.

“Thank you Dr. Ramos & Dr. Martinez (my cardiologists) & Dr. Tiongson (my neurologist) for taking good care of me. I had my complete bloodworks done upon waking up & also my ECG. I solemnly promise to follow all their instructions, take my medication & I will never again abuse my body because I was a slave to my work. My goal now is to achieve a healthy work & life balance.”

“Last night was a scary wake up call for me & my loved ones, but it also made me realize how much my siblings & sons love & care for me. It really put my priorities in proper perspective. I was told to have complete rest for the next few days & to try to be stress free. So I’ll be signing off while I recuperate.”

Despite having health issues, Kris still shared what PNoy told her about the issue over Balikbayan boxes. She wrote:

“P.S. PNoy said, ‘Kristina, yung sa Customs they’ll give a thorough explanation & a demonstration of the XRay machines to be used on Wednesday.’ I hope that I remembered his message accurately & I pray for a peaceful resolution for all concerned. Bye for now IG Friends.”

In an earlier Instagram post, the TV host shared the following photo showing a bible verse. In the caption, Kris confessed the truth that her “health is really suffering.” However, she also said that she surrenders everything to God as her healer and redeemer. She wrote:

“I am blessed to have such loving & understanding kids, I woke up still w/ a throbbing headache & because of the nonstop work- my immunity is really down. (Full disclosure, I didn’t post pics for much of last week because we were shooting sequences that are part of #EtiquetteForMistresses ending & Friday night at the height of Ineng’s strength @chinitaprincess & I shot outdoors in Subic until 4 AM, starting when rain was just a drizzle, stopping when it became too strong, then attempting to shoot again hence my headache, bodyaches & sore throat now.)

The 2 boys told me it’s okay for me to just sleep in & they’ll wake me up when it’s time for me to get ready for Mass. Never did they complain that now that I’m finally home they are getting an exhausted & unhealthy mama.

I am proud of my work ethic, tomorrow & Tuesday I’ll tape @kristvofficial_ig, then for the rest of the week it’s #EtiquetteForMistresses but I’ve been putting in nonstop 16 hour work days because I am honoring my job commitments, and the truth is my health is really suffering.

I read this verse over & over again to give myself proper perspective regarding surrendering to God as my Healer & Redeemer. Have a Restful Sunday to all of you.”
