She continued, “6. I am comfortable & was born for the political arena. BUT the most important 7. It’s not yet my career path for 1 IMPORTANT reason- my Mom had “bilin” regarding my entrance into politics- my children must come first, our home life must be stable because as you all know my dad was imprisoned when i was a toddler, killed when i was 12 years old, my mom ran for the presidency when i was 14, and i had just turned 15 when the EDSA Revolution happened. I was 21 when she stepped down. It is an understatement to say i didn’t have a traditional home life, and yes it did have an effect on my life’s choices.”
“All my sisters have remained out of the spotlight & all have loving, long lasting marriages. I made my choices & in the area of my personal life- i’ve made my mistakes. But i NOW have a chance to be the best Mom possible. And that means also being a good provider, especially for Kuya Josh.
