Kris Aquino is helping fund in the construction of Monasterio de Sta Clara, Pagibig Heights, Catalunan Grande in Davao City. Kris shared that in a wedding ceremony she attended, some nuns approached her and asked for her assistance.
On her Instagram account, Kris happily shared some photos of the project with the following caption:
“When @mabellada & @stephyap609 got married in the Shrine of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, some sisters approached me telling me they needed financial assistance to complete construction in Monasterio de Sta Clara, Pagibig Heights, Catalunan Grande in Davao City.
I asked them to formalize their request w/ a letter & I’ll get back to them. Mother Maria wrote me & enclosed her contact #.
Happy to share that nag clear na my 1st donation, 50% of what I pledged to share w/ them. They are contemplative nuns, very close to my Mom’s heart. It feels like serendipity because Sta. Clara is the patron saint of television & their monastery chapel is located in PAGIBIG Heights.
