The apology came a week after the police nabbed the man allegedly responsible for spreading the former Atenean’s lewd photos. Ravena clarified that he kept his silence during the height of the scandal for the benefit of the investigation regarding the case.
“Siguro andoon ako sa point na kung umamin man ako o hindi, I think it won’t affect whatever I say, ‘di ba? I guess, ‘yun na lang ‘yun, parang for me, people already made up kung ano man ang tingin nila sa what happened. Ako, I understand whatever judgment they made about me,” he continued.
He also apologized to his girlfriend, volleyball star and co-Atenean Alyssa Valdez, saying, “Nagso-sorry ako lalo na kay Alyssa. I have no excuse for what happened. Sa sobrang bait mong tao, hindi ka dapat nalalagay sa ganitong sitwasyon.”
Ravena is hopeful that this will be the last time he will have to talk about the issue. He is also resolved to move forward with his career and relationships with other people.
