Moreover, Karel took time to share how much of a good father figure Sean has been to her two kids, Keiley and Kyler who are her children with former husband, Armand de Guzman. The Kapuso actress pondered on how Sean was able to build a strong bond and relationship with her kids over the five years that they have been together.
“Keiley just turned 7, Kyler just turned 6, and you and I have been together for 5. Today, it’s safe to say that the only thing better than finally having you as my fiancé is actually the children having you around. A person like you proves that love has no boundaries of biology. You chose to love us even if you did not have to. You chose to love me the first time we met, a time when I was at my worst. Look at us now. We are raising the kids well and I cannot thank you enough for being my partner. For the past 5 years, I have never felt so safe, loved, and treasured like a rare gem. I have been through so much. The rock bottom kinda pain. I was reminded by God that nothing worth having comes easy and He won’t give me all the trials if I couldn’t handle it – but I did – and I stood stronger than ever.
