Instead of making allegations through blind items, actor John Lloyd Cruz said anyone claiming to be someone’s child should take the proper steps to reach out to his or her parent.
Rumors of John Lloyd Cruz fathering a teen age girl started when a post on a Facebook page known as ‘The ELBI Files’ circulated in the social media world.
The teen age girl posted on the page claiming that she is a daughter of an actor, then used the pseudo names ‘AnakngTagaTabingIlog’, ‘AnakngEyebags’ and ‘KantoGirlLiveinLA’, this then lead netizens on assumptions that the post pertains to John Lloyd.
During the press conference for his fourth year as an endorser of the brand Magic flakes, John Lloyd was asked for his reaction that he supposedly fathered a child.
“I calculated it, it looks like when the child is born, I was just 15 years old, so it’s hard to believe.
It is really hard to take it seriously if you are just going to use the social media” the actor said.
The actor also added that such rumors are not really new to him and even to his family.
“I am not affected at all, it’s common to us [family], before, someone even said that I am not my father’s child” John Lloyd said, laughing.
John Lloyd is currently in the states, enjoying his vacation with his girlfriend, actress Angelica Panganiban.
