Comedian John Lapuz appealed to the members of the LGBT community not to vote for Saranggani Congressman Manny Pacquiao who is now running for Senator after making a controversial statement regarding same-sex marriage.
On his instagram account, John posted two photos with the following message:
“I beg you my dear fellow filipinos and ofcourse my fellow LGBT family. Pls dont vote Manny Pacquio. Hayop ang tingin nya sa atin. Ty. #MightAsWell #MannyBobo”
And on a separate post, John again posted another photo captioned:
“At ang pinaka matindi pa dito, nakangiti nyang sinasabi ang “masahol pa sa hayop” na para bagang tama sya at proud na proud pa sa kanyang sarili na nakumpara nya ang LGBT sa mga hayop. Ang pinaka matindi pa dito e ang buong LGBT ay proud na proud kay Manny tuwing nanalo sya sa boxing. Nakalimutan na nga namin na hindi sya palapasok sa Congreso. At ang pinaka matindi pa dito, tatakbo syang Senador! Gago! #NoToManny #MightAsWell #VoteWisely”
