Despite being successful in her personal life and career, Jodi shared in an interview with entertainment journalist MJ Felipe that she used to feel empty and incomplete back in the days.
“I felt empty. I remember sa Shrine Auditorium, after ng performance namin, bumaba ako ng backstage (then) umiyak ako. Sabi ko, ‘Bakit ganoon?’ Akala ko masasagot nung katanyagan ‘yung emptiness na nararamdaman ko sa heart ko.”
Since then, Jodi took time to find the kind of fulfillment she was longing for until one day, veteran actress Coney Reyes invited her to their Christian Church. From then on, Jodi has been proud and vocal of her faith; which is highly evident on the Bible verses she constantly uploads on her personal Instagram account.
