“Actually my wife and my mom said when they watched, ‘I think you deserved to win. You deserve the award,’ parang ganoon. I’m thankful.”
Above anything else, Jericho said that he is happy and beyond thankful for being blessed with such recognition; adding that the award was a product of good timing.
“My friends are happy, everyone’s happy. I’m happy, and I’m surprised until now. For me it’s timing and a little bit of I don’t know, maybe it’s unfair pag narinig ng ibang tao na if I say chamba but for me it was just timing and God’s grace.”
Jericho was not able to personally receive his award during the MMFF Awards Night last December 27, 2015 because he was on a holiday trip with his wife in Australia.
