A jeepney hit the car of Vice President Leni Robredo’s mother, Sally Gerona, in a road accident in Naga City last July 11.
According to the Gerona’s driver, they did not notice the jeepney as it suddenly cut into their lane. Fortunately, the collision only caused a light impact and Robredo’s 82-year-old mother did not sustain any injuries from the accident.

The jeepney driver admitted that he did not immediately see the car before the vehicles hit. The jeepney driver’s passengers were 11 inmates and their guards who were on their way back to prison after their court hearings.
