Star Awards Best New Male TV Personality Jake Ejercito said he knew for a year now that he is the true father of Andi Eigenmann’s daughter Ellie. Jake added that he underwent DNA testing and found out that Ellie was his daughter.
In an exclusive interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph), Jake said he was surprised to see the result but was happy with it.

“Let’s put this way, when I found out, nagulat ako. I was really surprised. But I’m happy and I have no regrets. said Jake. “Hindi naman deserve ni Ellie na itago. Never ko naman siyang ikinahiya. I’ve never denied it. Never pinpointed on anyone. All I wanted is to protect Ellie. Kasi ayoko talagang pag-usapan.” added Jake.
During his acceptance speech, Jake dedicated his award to Ellie: “to my number one inspiration, my princess, my Ellie, this is for you.”
