GMA’s official statement, tells a different story though, saying that Dingdong will not run for any government positions soon.
Dingdong’s wife, Kapuso Primtime Queen Marian Rivera, seconded this report with an interview from Startalk.
Marian said that Dingdong’s advocacies like Yes Pinoy Foundation and National Youth Commission already helms Dingdong’s public-service capabilities, and he will not run for Senator. The FHM Sexiest also said that she and Dingdong will focus first on building a family this year.
But, you know what they say, in politics, there is no sure answer. We’ll wait and see.
