Former PBB housemate Vickie Rushton stuns in her red BB. Pilipinas national costume

In her recent Instagram post, Vickie stunned the netizens as she showed off her intricately made national costume inspired by her province Negros Occidental’s MassKara Festival.

The former PBB housemate shared the story behind her beautiful costume and wrote:

“My national costume is a modern take of the traditional Philippine Terno. It is made of pure custom art deco cutouts, Francis Libiran’s signature detail, and accessorized with a sceptered mask, depicting the famous MassKara Festival, one of the biggest and most celebrated festivals in my province – Negros Occidental.
The history behind the MassKara Festival is to uplift the spirits of the Filipinos during trying times and that’s why I am very proud to wear this work of art. It symbolizes how resilient we are as a nation and it shows that whatever challenges we face, we can still proudly put a smile and cheer each other’s spirits.”
