Former Ms. Tourism International 2012 Rizzini Alexis Gomez died of lymphoma of the lungs in Cebu at 8:20 a.m. Tuesday (October 13, 2015). She was 25 years old.
A registered nurse, Rizzini was the daughter of former Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player Rhoel Gomez.
On her Instagram account, MJ Lastimosa posted a photo of Rizzini with the following caption:
“My heart is in so much pain right now hearing that we lost a KF sister after months of fighting lung cancer. You will be missed Rizzini thank you for bringing pride and honor to our country! We love you

Rizzini won the Ms. Tourism International title on December 31, 2012 in Petaling Jaya, near Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
