Fil-Am beauty queen joins the PBB house as a regular housemate

After the introduction of internet celebrity Mikee Agustin, model-heartthrob Richard Juan and celebrity tour guide Roger Lucero, “Pinoy Big Brother” (PBB) 737 just unveiled the identity of its fourth regular housemate – Jessica Marasigan. The 21-year-old beauty queen from Los Angeles will be part of the 12 new housemates that will enter the PBB house.

In Tuesday’s (August 4, 2015) episode of Aquino and Abunda Tonight, show host Boy Abunda asked Jessica on how she will manage her loneliness now that she will be away from her family and will be entering the PBB house. Jessica said that even though it is hard, she will try to cope with it as much as she can.

Being raised in the United States, a 21 year old woman like her can declare self-autonomy or freedom from parent’s grip. However, she decided to stay with her parents and said that she appreciates her parents now even more.

The “California Dream Girl of U.S.A” also shared that she prefers Caucasians to be her boyfriend. However, she emphasized that if a guy is nice and is in good terms with her parents, then his race does not matter.

She also dreams of pursuing a television career which includes being a news anchor or a host of a pop culture show.

Jessica also revealed that as she grew up, she did not have much confidence but after joining Miss Philippines USA in 2012, she was able to boost her self-confidence.

When asked about what led her to join PBB, she answered, “Most importantly to find myself. Because in the States, Filipino culture really isn’t emphasized.

“In joining the competition, I really want to learn more about myself and more about my Filipino culture. Just as to really find who I really am,” ended Jessica.
