Fans were not only excited for Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza’s performance on Eat Bulaga’s “Bulaga Pa More” but they were also looking forward to her possible meetup with Alden Richards at the Broadway Centrum.
On Wednesday’s (August 12, 2015) episode of Eat Bulaga, Yaya Dub is set to conquer the stage and aims to outperform HBD Girl Patricia.

As Alden and Yaya Dub’s world gets smaller, fans took to social media their thrill and exhilaration. In fact, the hashtag #AlDubMaybeThisTime topped Twitter’s trending topics nationwide with more than a million tweets.
However, it seems that it is not yet the right time for Alden and Yaya Dub to meet as Lola Nidora, portrayed by Wally Bayola found a way to intervene in their supposed meeting.
On his Instagram account, Alden wrote:
“So close yet so far.”
Meanwhile, on her Twitter account, Yaya Dub wrote:
“Hopia #AlDubNotThisTime”
Some fans took to social media their disappointment as the much awaited meeting between Alden and Yaya Dub did not happen again. However, as what Lola Nidora have mentioned and as what have Alden stated on his Twitter post – everything falls into its proper place and at the right time.
He wrote:
“Lahat ng bagay dapat pinaghihirapan, lahat ng bagay dapat pinagsusumikapan at lahat ng bagay may tamang panahon. – Lola Nidora”
