Unfazed by the comments of netizens over his Twitter post, Director Erik Matti reiterated his disagreement over the choice of candidate by the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
In an earlier post, Direk Erik was criticized for his post:
“OFWs kung wala kayong malasakit sa Pinas wag na lang bumoto. Ansama pumili! Anaknang! Wala silang paki kasi di sila nakatira dito! #Dugong”
The post angered most netizens and OFWs telling the Director to respect the decision of our OFWs. In response, Direk Erik tweeted the following:
“We have all the respect for the sacrifices of OFWs. But the OFWs chose a Marcos overall and i disagree. #wagkayongkuyog”
