Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” makes it to Guiness

Whether you are a music lover or not, you must have loved the song “Thinking Out Loud” performed by Ed Sheeran. But despite the popularity of the song, it took “Thinking Out Loud” 19 weeks before it reached #1 in the U.K. single chart.

And because of this, Guinness Book of World Records awarded “Thinking Out Loud” for “the longest climb to No. 1 on the U.K. singles chart”, a record previously held by Celine Dion’s “Think Twice” which took 13 weeks before becoming #1 on the said chart.

The song “Thinking Out Loud” took 19 weeks to reach the top spot from July 5, 2014 to November 8, 2014.
