The entire local entertainment industry is still mourning the sudden death of Direk Wenn Deramas. Celebrities are sharing their good memories and experiences with the late director.
Actor DJ Durano remembered the award-winning director with whom he shared 10 years of his life with.
Back in September 2013, DJ and Direk admitted that they have decided to end their 10-year relationship which shocked the actor and director’s fans and supporters. Prior to the breakup revelation, neither DJ nor Direk Wenn confirmed the said relationship.

In an interview with Push on Monday (February 29, 2016), DJ talked about his relationship with Direk Wenn throughout the years. According to the actor, it was Direk Wenn who believed in him and his talent and even gave him the biggest breaks.
“It’s very difficult because alam naman ng lahat na Direk Wenn is my mentor actually he gave me the biggest breaks and malaking loss hindi lang sa akin, kundi sa industry. I’m lost for words I only have kind words para sa kanya. May gagawin pa nga dapat kami na teleserye.”
The actor also remembered how supportive Direk Wenn was of him and his acting career. In fact, DJ shares that the award-winning director even asked his fellow directors and producers to consider DJ when it comes to television or movie castings.
