Veteran director Wenn Deramas and his older sister Myrna Ann “Wawa” Deramas were finally laid to rest at the Himlayang Pilipino on Sunday afternoon (March 6, 2016).
According to the tweet updates of ABS-CBN’s entertainment journalist MJ Felipe, friends, family, and supporters of the award-winning director were able to pay their last respects to Direk Wenn during the final funeral mass for the veteran director officiated by Father Tito Caluag at the Dolphy Theatre inside the ABS-CBN compound.

Some of Direk Wenn’s close friends from the entertainment industry who attended his burial were Eugene Domingo, BB Gandanghari, Gladys Reyes, Vice Ganda, Karla Estrada, and his “original baby” Claudine Barretto.
