In an interview with ABS-CBN’s Gandang Gabi Vice last September 6, 2015, hunk actor Derek Ramsay revealed that among all his past relationships in the showbiz industry, the one he had with sexy actress Solenn Heussaff brought the biggest impact in his life.
“Mahal na mahal ko siya noon, but it’s not enough. May nangyayari sa relationship, tapos you bring the worst out of each other. It was too much turmoil, I had to get out,” he said.

“Nakipag-break ako, tapos, in the process I broke my heart too,” Derek added explaining that breaking up with Solenn pained him in the process because during that time he really loved Solenn.
Derek also shared in an interview with Aquino and Abunda Tonight that Solenn brought out the best in him, his exact words were “”I think she brought out the best in me during the time that we were together and she was supportive of everything that I did.”
“My niece is named after her so that says it all,” Derek added.
