“Yeah, I tried before, a couple years back, and she wasn’t ready, and I respect that. And now that she’s ready, she realized na it’s great na nag-effort siya para mag-communicate sa akin. And I was really touched by her reaching out, especially on my birthday pa naman, she remembered.”
Derek confessed that he did not recognize that it was his ex-flame who greeted him since Angelica opted to change her number when they broke up in 2012. However, upon realizing that it was Angelica, he immediately called her for a short talk to catch up.
Back in 2012, Derek and Angelica decided to put an end on their relationship which resulted to a bitter breakup. At present, both Derek and Angelica are committed to their respective partners namely Joanne Villablanca and John Lloyd Cruz.
