In a report by ABS-CBN News, De Lima called the allegations as “malicious” and pitied the man for being dragged into the muck as ammunition for President Duterte’s personal attacks on the lady senator who is a staunch critic of the extrajudicial killings in his war on drugs.
De Lima also denied the authenticity of her alleged sex video and rebuffed Duterte’s “drug matrix.” According to her, these are all part of a ploy to destroy her credibility with the ongoing Senate inquiry on extrajudicial killings.
“As a woman, it’s very offensive…You can only start prying into my private life kung nakikita niyo na it is affecting the performance of my work. That is always my attitude,” she said.
