Comedianne actress Joy Viado passed away Saturday (September 10, 2016) due to heart attack. In an interview with DZMM, Joy’s son Joseph Christopher said his mom experienced some difficulty in breathing after coming from a friend’s house.
“Pag-uwi niya ay medyo nahihirapan na siyang huminga. Tapos nung tinakbo namin siya sa hospital, sa kotse pa lang eh talagang nahihirapan na siya.” said Joseph.
ABS-CBN entertainment reporter MJ Felipe tweeted the sad news as told by Annette Lucido, best friend of Joy Viado:
She was pronounced dead on arrival 8:55 p.m. at the Quezon City General Hospital. The actress’ remains will be held at the Arlington Memorial chapels.
