Coleen Garcia’s grandma tells her story about fired service crew

She said that the Garcia family was at Ramen Nagi restaurant to celebrate Father’s Day, when Coleen’s order arrived, she noticed there was a baby cockroach in her food. She pointed this out to the server who apologized and offered to replace her order but Coleen declined.

When they asked for the bill, they were told that as part of the restaurant’s Father’s Day promo and they were in a group of five, they got one meal free. Coleen’s grandmother then presented her senior citizen card for the mandatory senior citizen discount but was informed that she could not avail of the discount because they already had one meal free. She then explained that she never asked for the free meal and that by law a senior citizen’s meal is to be billed separately.

She added that they never said that their server was rude.

They thought the matter had been settled because when the restaurant’s management reached out to Coleen on Instagram she eventually took down her post regarding the incident, that is why they were surprised to find out that the service crew was fired.

Coleen’s grandmother feels the waiter should not lose his job.
