The PNP chief also commended the television series ‘Ang Probinsyano’ for its positive effect on the people’s impression of the police in the Philippines and for its ability to raise people’s awareness on criminality.
“Maganda ang ginagawa niyo sa ‘Ang Probinsyano.’ Bumabalik ang kumpiyansa ng mga tao sa mga pulis,” the PNP chief told the series’ creators.
Since its television premiere on 2015, ‘Ang Probinsyano’ has covered a diverse set of issues such as drugs, police corruption, kidnapping, human trafficking, and assassinations.
