Organizers of Miss Universe beauty Pageant in the Philippines came under fire after allowing contestants to swim with the endangered ‘Butandings’ (whale sharks) at Oslob, Cebu on December 13.
Clad in sexy swimwear, the Miss Universe candidates rode a boat on their way to swim with the Butandings as part of their activity.

Posing with the Butandings has long been criticized by Bio-Marine groups, who say that feeding Butandings makes them dependent in people and also vulnerable to poachers.
