With her soulful rendition of Martin Nievera’s “Ikaw ang Lahat Sa Akin,” the banana cue vendor Elha Mae Nympha from Quezon City was hailed as the grand champion of the The Voice Kids Season 2 on Sunday (August 30, 2015).
With this, her mentor Bamboo Manalac got emotional and was even caught in tears after his protege Elha won the competition.

Since “The Voice” started in 2013, this is the first time that an artist from Bamboo’s team has won the competition.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Bamboo could not hide his happiness for Elha’s victory.
He said, “It’s about Team Elha now. I’m just very proud of her. Masayang masaya ako para sa kanya. Look at her smile, with the voice to back it up and a heart to back it up. Amazing talaga.”
Bamboo also said that Elha is a fast learner and has a good heart so he does not want to be acknowledged for Elha’s achievement.
