Auction for Dolphy’s properties will push through

(UPDATE)  It is confirmed that “The Dolphy Estate Auction” will push through.

The properties of the late Comedy King Dolphy will be up for auction, such properties includes that of his lots in Batangas, Antipolo, Cavite, Bulacan, Baguio and Samar.

One of the properties is the beachfront chateau located at Nasugbu, Batangas, this was a gift of the Comedy King for Zsa Zsa Padilla and to their daughters, but this property is not for sale for this is special for their three girls.

During the press conference of Zsa Zsa’s movie entitled ‘M (Mother’s Maiden Name)’, she shared that the auction will not just benefit Dolphy’s heirs but this will be a way to raise funds to complete the projects that honors the Comedy King, including the Laughter Museum and part of the proceeds will also benefit the Dolphy Aid Foundation.

Dolphy’s family also plans to build a museum in his name.

Dolphy’s properties up for auction

Some of the real estate properties left by the late comedy king Dolphy Quizon are up for auction.

The properties include that of his lots in Batangas, Antipolo, Cavite, Bulacan, Baguio and Samar.

According to his son, Eric Quizon, they are doing this to raise funds in order to complete the projects that honor their father, including the Laughter Museum. Part of the proceeds will also benefit the Dolphy Aid Foundation.

“We’ve been trying to liquidate some of the assets. Right now, what we have are just our properties and we have to liquidate that,” Eric shared in an interview with ‘Aquino & Abunda Tonight.’

“[The properties are not earning], Might as well do something about it” he added.

“The Dolphy Estate Auction,” will be held live at the Dolphy Theater in Quezon City.
