Based on her reactions, the actor-comedian’s message somehow made Alma emotional—causing her to become teary eyed. The actress turned politician, on the other hand, revealed that it was the first time ever for her ex-husband to be as sentimental and emotional as he was while expressing his message.
“Ngayon ko lang siyang narinig ng ganyan, tagal na naming hindi nagkita, ngayon nagkita kami ulit at excited ang mga anak ko. Sana nanggaling sa puso mo ‘yan.”
Alma also shared that she has been looking forward to the day where she and Joey will be able to meet without having to deal with all of the drama. She also mentioned that her ex-husband is now among her closest friends in life.
“Actually ang mga anak ko excited—si Yeoj, VJ, sila MM, si Wyn-Wyn—excited sila kasi matagal na kaming hindi nagkikita ng daddy nila. Masaya (ako) kasi best friend na kami ngayon.”
