Alma Concepcion slams bashers who called her “papansin”

Actress Alma Concepcion clarified that she did not file a report on National Bureau of Investigation’s Death Investigation Division (NBI-DID) just for fame. She did it voluntarily to help the families who lost their loved ones.

The former beauty queen went to NBI to file her eyewitness statement on Thursday (June 9, 2016) where she narrated what she saw during the Close Up Forever Summer event. She wrote on her Instagram account:

“After weeks of contemplation, conquered my fear today and said yes to the invitation of NBI Death Investigation Department. Gave our eye witness sworn statement today re the #CloseUpForeverSummer event. #moralobligation with atty Py Caunan #concernedmother #concernedcitizen”

Through a Facebook post on Saturday (June 11, 2016), she expressed her dismay to all the people who judged her for being ‘papansin’ for what she did. According to her, they were invited by the NBI and they weren’t informed that there were media present during that time.

On the other hand, she also answered why she became emotional while filing the case.
