After the “kababawan” tweet of broadway star Lea Salonga, Joey also tweeted back and gave his opinion but did not directly state that it was his response to Lea’s tweet.
Joey tweeted the following which prompted Lea to respond:
“Hindi naman pala daw AlDub pinatatamaan ni Lea. Baka naman yung kabila? Nagtatanong lang po.”
Lea took the opportunity and tweeted back to Joey:
– “@AngPoetNyo Hi, Tito Joey, I’ll take this to mean that you’re at least giving me the benefit of the doubt. For that, thank you very much.”
Joey acknowledge Leas tweet and replied:
– “@MsLeaSalonga Hi Lea, no worries. Wala na ‘yon! Magsimula na lang tayong lahat ng A WHOLE NEW WORLD! Mabuhay ka!”
