Aiza Seguerra suspended from ASAP

“Being in this business long enough, siyempre di na ako magpapa-plastik. Pero it’s a directive galing sa management that I have to respect. After all, this is a business, they have to protect their business,” this is what singer Aiza Seguerra said in an interview with entertainment site Philippine Entertainment Portal regarding the issue of being suspended from ABS-CBN’s Sunday noontime show ASAP.

Aiza thinks that officials of the Kapamilya Network became concerned about her being cast in GMA’s newest series produced by TAPE Entertainment entitled “Princess in the Palace”.

Aiza explained that he just cannot say ‘no’ to TAPE, which also produces Eat Bulaga, Eat Bulaga is where Aiza started her career when she won the title of “Little Miss Philippines”.

“We’re not contract artists, we’re not exclusive artists, sa hierarchy ng mga artista, medyo kami ang nadi-displace kapag may mga ganitong issues, number one, I’m a working actor, I need work. Kung ano ang may mag-offer na trabaho sa akin, and TAPE is TAPE, hinding-hindi ko hihindian ‘yan,” she added.

Despite this concern, Aiza stayed positive and understood what ASAP management has to do.

“Wala akong sama ng loob sa management mismo,” the singer said.
