“Siguro, normal lang ang bashing sa trabaho namin. Bata pa [lang] ako nae-experience ko na ‘yan. Wala pang social media, I have been bashed left and right because of who I am, because of my preference, gender identity,” she told in an interview with Pep.ph.
While she has been used to the incessant bashing, she said that it becomes a different story when the people she loves are the ones subjected to the hate.
“When it comes to my wife, siguro doon lang hindi ko kinakaya because, somehow, I feel responsible because she chose to be with me. And siguro, at the same time, napurga na rin ako parati sa sinasabi na wala akong pakialam,” Aiza said.
