After everything has been said and done, commedianne Ai-Ai delas Alas still consider Direk Wenn Deramas as someone dear and special to her. The two had a little spat during the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival.
Direk Wenn Deramas passed away Monday February 29, 2016 due to a massive heart attack. He was 47.
On her Instagram account, Ai-Ai expressed her respect to the fallen director by posting a photo message with the following caption:

Direk Wenn was the director of “Beauty and the Bestie” while Ai-Ai is with My Bebe Love. The two had a little misunderstanding as to which of the two movies is MMFF’s highest-grossing film.
