The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) named Adele as the world’s best selling and most popular music artist of 2015. IFPI award is an award which recognizes the top artist across physical sales, downloads and streaming.
Adele’s third album 25 sold more than 800,000 copies in its first week and the record’s lead single, Hello, became the first single to be downloaded more than one million times in the US.
