Floyd Mayweather in a text told ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith that he is open to fighting Many Pacquiao again after the Filipino boxer recovers from his shoulder surgery.
“I will fight him in a year after his surgery,” Mayweather texted Smith.
Pacquiao revealed that he is experiencing pain on his shoulder due to an accident he got from a skiing last 2009.
Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Neal ElAttrache told ESPN.com that Manny will undergo surgery to repair a “significant tear” in his rotator cuff. The surgery will require a recuperation period of at least nine to 12 months.
