Singer Erik Santos, along with Cornerstone Entertainment president Erickson Raymundo, filed almost 45 counts of libel and other charges against entertainment columnist Jobert Sucaldito on Thursday, March 30, according to an official statement from their legal counsel, Atty. Joji Alonso.
On Thursday, March 30, John Lapus posted a screenshot of a text message containing Santos and Raymundo’s official statement, saying:

“OUR OFFICIAL STATEMENT. Erickson Raymundo and Erik Santos have decided to take legal action against Jobert Sucaldito for his acts totalling 43 counts of cyber libel, 12 counts of grave threats, 1 count of slander and 2 counts of libel. The vicious cycle of mercilessly maligning the reputation, sexuality, character and integrity of persons using social media, only to delete it after the damage has been inflicted as if nothing happened, has got to stop. We trust that justice will be served.”
