Last November 7, 2014, ABS-CBN’s Teen King Daniel Padilla, together with his mother, former actress Karla Estrada, were honored at the “Handumanan: Pasasalamat sa mga Bayani ng Haiyan.”
The award giving body recognizes the effort of those who reached out and helped the victims of the super typhoon Yolanda.
Through a free concert in Tacloban, Daniel and his mother brought happiness to the survivors and aimed to make them forget all the pain and hardships they encountered during the typhoon.
Karla posted a picture of the event on her Instagram account and gave her thanks for the warm welcome they had received during their stay at Tacloban.
Just like what Karla posted, we should all make an effort in order to lend a helping hand.
