Filipinos all over the world come together and unite to support and tweet about “AlDub” everytime there is an important event – like during their weeksaries, monthsaries, and during the TamangPanahon event at the Philippine Arena which broke the Twitter record when they were able to garner more than 51K+ million tweets.
Everyone was so amazed by the popularity of AlDub (Alden Richards and Yaya Dub (Maine Mendoza) that even Twitter executives calls it a “global phenomenon”.
This so-called phenomenon did not escape the eyes and attention of Edu Manzano prompting the actor to post a picture message that says:
“If Filipinos can unite to trend #AlDub and impresss the whole world, how come Filipinos can’t unite to solve national issues and save their country from further embarassment?”
Edu captioned the said post with:
