Fashion Pulis blogger Michael Sy Lim was arrested Tuesday (August 11, 2015) over a libel case filed by Deniece Cornejo. Michael was arrested at 11:30 a.m. at his home in Makati City based on a warrant of arrest issued by the Antipolo City Regional Trial Court.
Michael was arrested because of a blog post stating that Deniece has a sexually transmitted disease.
Michael said he is willing to meet and settle the issue with Deniece:
“I am sure if I have offended you (Deniece ) it was not intentional, I was just doing my job, I would like to meet you personally,” Michael said.
A bail of P16,000 has been recommended for Michael’s temporary freedom.
