After the hit movie “Just The Way You Are” (JTWYA) earned 12 million on its first day last June 17, Star Cinema has once again created another blockbuster hit as “The Breakup Playlist” earned 15 million on its first day.
Based on the movie feedback from netizens, perhaps lead stars Piolo Pascual and Sarah Geronimo’s first teamup on the big screen plays a major factor for this another achievement.

Yet one thing is for sure, showcasing the best stars in the industry including Pop Star Princess Sarah and heartthrob Piolo would surely create a hit movie.
In addition, the movie features a story of a rock musician (portrayed by Piolo) and an aspiring artist (Sarah) who collaborate and fall in love.
The movie is directed by the award-winning director Dan Villegas who also helmed the romantic comedy film “English Only, Please.”
