Last June 6 on Startalk, Kylie Padilla confirmed her breakup with Matt Henares. Matt is in Australia for a culinary internship while Kylie is busy with her commitments here as well.
In an interview with actress Rhian Ramos during the PEP List Awards Night, Rhian commented on the sudden breakup of her cousin Matt Henares with Kylie Padilla.
“Nakuwento [na ni Matt sa akin], pero ako sa view ko lalo na kapag ganoon ka kabata just because the relationship ended, feeling ko hindi naman ibig sabihin na hindi successful kasi may iba namang plano si God eh. Kasi baka kung ang plano ni Lord na may certain purpose lang talaga ‘yung tao na ‘yun sa buhay mo. Baka na-serve na. Baka ‘yun lang pala, ‘di ba?” said Rhian.

“Baka naman successful pa rin. Puwede nating makita as successful pa rin na na-serve na siguro nila ang purpose nila sa lives ng isa’t-isa,” she added.
Somehow, Rhian agrees that ‘distance’ is a factor in any relationship, saying, “I mean ako naman I wouldn’t even advice Matthew to close his doors kasi posible nga naman na the distance really took its toll on their relationship.”
When asked if Rhian is willing to enter into a long distance relationship, she answered, “Mahirap ang long distance relationship ha? Ako, hindi ako papasok sa long distance relationship on purpose. ‘Yung kung alam kong aalis ‘yung tao, sasabihin ko huwag na lang, ayokong ma-in love. Mahirap ‘yun!”
